When we talk about Europe, we refer to the geographical Europe, including Turkey and Russia, up to the Ural Mountains.

We currently categorise projects into on or more of these:

Our unique data set is derived from multiple open sources (press releases, patents, annual reports, company results, environmental permits, ECHA and other publications of the engineering and investing firms involved).

A new chemistry project is always our starting point when collecting data, from which we describe the organizations, plants, and substances involved. Given this approach, the completeness of e.g. plants and companies is mostly limited to those involved in projects.

As we continue to develop PIPS, we will also enter historical data (from before 2010) to provide a complete picture of the development of chemistry in Europe.

• Projects: Project categories, involved companies, Target chemicals and production volumes, Involved newly created jobs and investment volumes in millions Euros.
• Companies: company description, address HQ, motherland, social media accounts.
• Plants: geo location, address, web address, current status
• Productions: chemical production volumes, involved companies. Nameplate Capacity in Tonnes Per Year.
• Project categories
• Substances: chemicals with common name, EC number, CAS Registry Number, ECHA substance link, Alternate names, Brand names, Production start date and Nameplate Capacity in Tonnes Per Year. Involved companies, plants and projects
• Chemical parks/clusters: park location, services, chemicals in local grid, companies and plants
